Carter looks even better this morning. They've taken him off oxygen, so there's one less tube connected to him. He's been eating regularly and pooped this morning...a significant milestone after surgery.

The doctors just rounded, and they are a little concerned about jaundice. So they'll be checking his levels this morning and putting him under a lamp if necessary.

One of the drains may come out today as it is collecting very little fluid. The other will stay in for now, although the amount it is collecting continues to decrease.

Hello Ryan and Stacy,

So happy to read that Carter is steadily recovering. (Praise God from whom all blessings flow.) It is such a blessing to witness your miracle. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Praying for physical and emotional strength for you all as you begin a new week. Can't wait to read the message that says everyone is coming home!

Big brother Ryker comes to our home tomorrow.......what a joy!! Chase will be here also and he has recently learned to crawl. Can't wait to see Ryker's response to Chase on the move. It is so fun to see the little ones together.

Take care as we will continue to pray for each new day.
